Antenna World completed a new anechoic antenna test chamber in September 2003. The new chamber was in the planning for a year and represents a great leap forward in product development speed for the company. In house testing greatly speeds up production designs, customer special designs and old design improvements. The test chamber is certified for use at 700 MHz to 6 GHz (15GHz in 2004) with a size of 30x15x15 feet to allow comfortable fitting of antennas under test. It is CP capable (circular polarization) which allows sattelite antenna work. Image shown was made while under construction and well lit. The chamber as of October 15, 2003 is fully operational using state of the art positioners and software.
